WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE SOME CHANGES THAT ARE COMING UP AT SCRAPPING THE MUSIC!
We have been listening to your feedback, and also talking amongst ourselves about new ways to make Scrapping The Music fresh and fun for you in the coming year, and we've come up with a plan that we are excited about! Here is an overview of some of the changes coming your way...
Schedule:
We are going to a format of two challenges per month. These challenges will be posted on the 1st and the 15th of every month. The challenge posted on the 1st will be due on the 13th, and the challenge posted on the 15th will be due on the 28th. We have had many requests for more time to complete the challenges and we know how busy everyone is. We hope this change will enable more of you to play along with us!!!
Picking Winners:
The design team will continue to vote for a winner with each challenge, and the winner will have their layout displayed in the Scrapping The Music Hall of Fame, just as we have been doing. Our goal is to also have a monthly sponsor who will provide a prize. If you submit a layout for one of our challenges, your name will go in the hat and the prize will be awarded at the end of the month by random draw. If you submit to both challenges your name will go in the hat twice that month!
Sponsors:
We are currently looking for monthly sponsors for our challenges. What a sponsor can expect is that they will have their prize and blinkie and/or link displayed for an entire month in our sidebar, along with a permanent link as a past sponsor once the month is done. Sponsoring Scrapping The Music is a great way to get exposure for your business and support our effort at the same time! If you have an etsy shop, or any kind of scrapbooking or art-related business of any kind and would like to sponsor STM for a month, email us at michellelapoint@yahoo.com and we can give you the details.
We have more fun changes coming, but those will be revealed as we go. We are looking forward to a fantastic year in 2011!!!
